Instant Video Consultation, Medical Certificates, Prescriptions, Referrals, Pathology/ Radiology Requests

Health Services 4U (HS4U) is a Healthcare platform that provides you with the ability to book a medical consultation or an Allied Health Services appointment with ease via our online booking platform as well as Instant Video consultation with your favourite GP.

Our Instant Consult Service relieves you from the burden of travelling to a clinic through heavy traffic and waiting in a clinic for boring hours exposing you for other patients; instead, now you can be at the comfort of your home and chat with your GP using your smart phone, tablet or lap-top.

(With our telehealth appointments there is no need to book appointments; just request a consult and the first available doctor will contact you, if you have no regular doctor. In the event that you are not eligible for a bulk-billed consult, our costs are quite reasonable and cheaper than a private practice consult.)

Doctors of HS4U are professionally qualified, well-experienced and Vocationally Registered GPs with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and maintain the standards introduced by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and the Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine (ACRRM) for medical services.

Apart from Instant Consult, HS4U provides you the options of obtaining Medical Certificates, Prescriptions (including Repeats), Specialist Referrals, Pathology Requests and Radiology Requests, as well as offer general medical advice.

Consultation charges are based upon the duration of the consult, similar to that of a visit to a local medical clinic. Issuing a medical certificate is a desecration of the GP; however, the GP may require the brief history of your medical background as well as previous medications in the event of issuing a medical certificate. So, you may have to have the details ready.

Yes, as long as they are in Australia and over 17 years of age.

Patients who are under the age of 17 years, must have the consent and presence of their parents or guardians with them all the times.

Parents must sign up under their child’s name for a consult, NOT through their own account.

The simple answer is Yes, a doctor can issue you with a Medical Certificate. The certificate will be emailed to you or sent to the inbox of HS4U immediately after the consultation.

However, you are required to consult the doctor initially so that The Doctor would get all the details of your medical issue in order to decide upon your request.

The Medical certificates will cover only a maximum period of three days and NEVER be issued back-dated!

The Certificates are valid to produce for work places as well as Universities for personal leave. Any requirement other than above you may have to have a personal consultation with a GP in-person.

Yes, our doctors can issue Prescriptions and Repeat Prescriptions as well as ePrescriptions through HS4U.

In the event of an ePrescription, a token is sent direct to your email or mobile for you to present at any pharmacy.

If you are ineligible to receive an ePrescription token, a traditional prescription can be sent directly to your local pharmacy for immediate collection – to use this service you must select one of the approved pharmacies from a HS4U Pharmacy Directory.

Alternatively, if you are ineligible to receive an ePrescription token and choose not to have a traditional prescription collected from any of our approved pharmacies, then the prescription can be posted/e-mailed to you.

Consultation charges are based on the duration of the consult and the doctor may require to be aware of your health history as well as any medications currently used, in order to prescribe appropriate and accurate medications.

Please be informed that some medications cannot be prescribed using HS4U. They include Panadeine Forte, Mersyndol Forte, Benzodiazepines (Valium), Phentermine (Duromine), Modafinil, Armodafinil, Gabapentin, Quetiapine, Pregabalin (Lyrica), Tramadol (Tramal), Zolpidem (Stilnox), Zopiclone (Imovane), controlled substances, narcotics or opioids, any Schedule 8 (S8) & Certain S4 controlled drugs and medications requiring close monitoring by a doctor.

Yes, when appropriate, HS4U doctors can issue Compound Prescriptions for you through Allied Health Services.

Yes, HS4U doctors can issue you with a Specialist Referral, Pathology/Blood Test Request or Radiology/X-Ray Request, when and if appropriate.

The Referral will be e-mailed after the consultation.

Results of pathology and imaging will be sent back directly to our clinic and you will be notified about it upon its receipt.

Should you wish to have the results be sent directly to your usual family practice so that you can discuss the issue with your regular GP, you may request so during your initial consult.
